2. Douglas was learning swimming at Y.M.C.A pool in the age of 10 or 11 one day sitting beside the pool of bully boy picked him up and threw him into the Deep pool. He went to the bottom and got panicky. He struggle hard to come to the surface. but failed each time. He was almost drawned in the pool.this misadventures developed in him a strong eversion to the water.

3. Thus, Douglas finally decided to get a swimming instructure to learn swimming. He went to pool and under his guidance he practiced five days in a week.after seven months practice Douglas over came his fear of water and succeed in swimming.
